Steelcase Leap V2

I received my refurbished Steelcase Leap v2 from Crandall today. I ordered on Saturday April 3rd and it arrived the 8th. So, I'm happy with the quick turn around. The chair arrived well packed and protected well.

I'm not sure what I expected. It's comfortable enough, let's you sit, recline, and adjust the arm pieces. I thought it'd be more plush in the back and the bottom. Steelcase Leap v2. You can find them used and it will likely be fine. They're absolutely built to last. I bought mine 8 years old off craigslist and 4 years later its still holding up great with 0 signs of breaking.

My only real complaint so far is it does smell like drying glue/paint. I am not sure if this will go away after awhile or not. Everything else seems pretty good. Edit: After a few days the smell is significantly reduced to acceptable levels.

I just picked up a Remanufactured Steelcase Leap v2 from Crandall and I've noticed that while initially very comfortable, after only 5-10 minutes, if feels like I'm sitting almost directly on the underside of the chair bottom. The seat padding is very, very soft, like I can take my hand and without a whole lot of force at all, push it down so that I can touch the bottom shell that the cushion is sitting on. Let's say that I'm not really packing a lot of meat in the rear end department, so it's not helping the situation, but I'm contemplating returning the chair.

Definitely a refurb (a bit sloppy on the spray paint), but mechanically sound and good value! Received from Madison Seating.
