Good but worth the price?

 Leap v2, chair two to three hours every single day. Hopefully, you found this video helpful, don't forget to check out the next video where we compare the leap chair to the aeron 

 The entire chair will adjust to fit almost any body type. First, specifically, we look at just seat height range, because this is going to be one of the more core components of getting a chair set to you. It will go all the way down to 15 and a half inches and up to as high as 20 and a half inches. So that means people that are, as maybe short as five two upwards of six six, should be able to sit in the leap chair comfortably now when we move from that point, it also has a seat slider function

 Now we've talked about the flexibility and adjustability and the armrest adjustment range, which is great to fit a lot of people, but if the pads themselves are rock hard, it's not going to matter. I think that these are just the right amount of softness they're, not too soft, where they don't offer good support, but they're also not too firm, where you feel your elbow on there and it gets sore over time. It also has nice flexible edges, which is good for, depending on how you're using the chair and how you're sitting you can tell like on the front portion here of my forearm, it's nice, that this is a little bit more pliable. So, overall, i think from the seat to the back to the arms, really a comfortable chair, all right guys

Steelcase Leap v2 Review: My Opinion 3 Years Later

 I purchased this from the Warehouse because of the price difference and I needed a new, reliable, well-reviewed chair for working from home. I guess I've learned my lesson to not purchase again from the Warehouse because they apparently don't know the definition of "Like New".  I will be keeping this chair because at first sit, it feels comfortable and provides the necessary back support I was looking to get. It does NOT have the little slider for me to adjust the lumbar support

Not as advertised in Amazon Warehouse

A high-end chair will last for years and offer you way better comfort. Your back will thank you too.

Herman Miller Aeron - Working from home got more enjoyable lately

 I have no idea how to rotate the cylinder so that it aligns with the lever. Seems like a serious design flaw if the cylinder can rotate such that the level is misaligned and the raise/lower functionality doesn't work.

 Why do people shower when i'm trying to film? But why does this chair cost so much as mentioned earlier? It comes in this humongous box because it's already assembled and it's ready to go right away, but the best features are definitely all the ergonomic adjustments and the amazing lumbar support. Great chair for a great price - don't let the refurb scare you!

I’m not a fan of the recline mechanism (with the whole sliding seat thing), I never managed to find a proper lower back firmness setting (it was always too much or too little for me) and the adjustable lumbar dug into my back so I ended up removing it. And finally, one problem I should've foreseen before buying it : foam backrests are not a good idea for summer.

 I had to let the chair outgas in the garage for a few days to get rid of upholstery glue smells. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the state of the arm rests (which could be tighter, there is a lot of play in them) and the action for the back tilt is a little off (leaning back is fine, but the mechanism does not recover quickly when leaning forward).

Chair is as to be expected for a refurb. The fabric is not as good as a new factory chair, but this is a quarter of the price so I can't complain there. I had to let the chair outgas in the garage for a few days to get rid of upholstery glue smells. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the state of the arm rests (which could be tighter, there is a lot of play in them) and the action for the back tilt is a little off (leaning back is fine, but the mechanism does not recover quickly when leaning forward)

The fabric is not as good as a new factory chair

 One of the chairs had a faulty gas spring for the height adjustments, but you can just pick one with a working gas spring. Look at ebay kleinanzeigen, the offer is from a guy in Mühlheim!.

What would you suggest to get? I'm suffering for some issues/pain/blockages in my sacroiliac joint &amp; some minor scoliolis in my lower back and I sit quite a long time (software dev &amp; gaming lifestyle...)

My options are - but I'm down to look for anything:

\- Haworth Zody (ï can get for around 380€ w/o extras)

\- Haworth Fern (\~650€ w/o extras)

\- Steelcase Please seems to be more readily available

\- A friend resells Vitra - but I didn't read too much about those here, so no idea here

Alternatives to Steelcase Leap

. (5' 7", 145 lbs) it kept feeling like I was bottoming out on the cushion, and yeah I adjusted the chair in all sorts of configurations but my body didn't like it. Ended up selling it.

Recently came across the subreddit in my search for a fix to my broken ass. 

A little background, I've been recently having tailbone pain from sitting in some horrible cheap Ikea chair the past year while working from home. I also have cervical spinal stenosis (C5/C6 and C6/C7) and bilateral hip impingement to round things out a bit. Both are managed fairly well at the moment, so I'm aiming to fix the pain in my ass without disturbing my other issues. I also have a sit/stand Jarvis desk so I'm covered in that area. The tailbone pain starts within 15-20 minutes of sitting in my current chair, and its 1000x worse when I first stand up.

I'm 5' 10", 207 lbs. 

My work offers a WFH discount on two of the three chairs, and these are about as high as I'm comfortable spending at the moment. 

Without further ado... Any thoughts on the below options? Something else to consider?

* Steelcase Leap V2 ($550 new) 
* Haworth Fern ($810 new)
* HM Aeron B ($500 used)
