no built in mic on either thoe. the 32bit float is great for oneman band scenarios, since u dont have to watch the meters, and if u need more than 2 inputs, the zoom f6 is good, u can have like 2 booms, 2 lavs, and another 2 inputs free. its a great development for field recording.
