So I'm definitely happy with this monitor. It's helped me improve my speed and my overall productivity.

* I'm so happy to get back that motion clarity that IPS has. I hear that the G9 (and G7) largely fix this issue, but IMO the CRG9 still exhibits noticeable motion blur, especially in darker situations. This was completely gone (of course) after going back to IPS. * The total pixel count is roughly the same, but it's nice having that added performance being applied to pixels that are actual in my typical FOV.

Rarely was I as conflicted over hardware as I was with the CRG9. Ultimately, I bought it because the current M1 Macs (you might be reading this years in the future, so this may not still apply) can only use one external monitor. For most people that's not an issue, but I use three 4K color-calibrate...

Needless to say, this monitor is a great performer. The ghosting is virtually non-existent (unless you look for it in fast-paced competitive fps- you really do need to look for it), the colors are great, the monitor looks great, the curve is subtle.
