Water damaged. This watch was advertised as swim proof watch. Daily hand washing occasional showering with the watch has gotten this swim proof watch water damaged beyond repair. Warranty repair quoted ~$150 to repair.

OEM Samsung drives tend to be at the head of the field when it comes to NVME, with certain drives being much better than others. And it is not always concrete that one brand will perform well at different capacities either. For instance, the 1TB version of the SM961 performs about 20 minutes better than the 512GB version (likely due to more efficient and dense NAND being used in the 1TB model).

A different take on monitor refresh rates (and the actual fact why 60hz to 144hz is the biggest jump and 144hz to 240hz not so much)

I just upgraded to Samsung’s newer g7 1440p 240hz monitor and I was blown away at how quick the pixel transitions also happen. I could very clearly see everything happening while turning which I couldn’t do on my old 144hz.

Wear OS in 2020: The most stagnant smartwatch platform

There's no reason a 2 year old Samsung watch should provide a smoother, more reliable smartwatch experience than all Wear OS watches, even with Samsung's basically non existent third party app support. The overall UX needs more work, and they should borrow liberally from Watch OS and Tizen. If they really want to give Wear OS new life though, a flagship Pixel watch which is actually great would go a long way towards convincing people it's a product worth using.

Can confirm. Bought a Samsung tablet many years ago and within 9 months it stopped receiving updates and was completely unusable within a year.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active a couple of years ago because my Pebble was showing its age and Rebble wasn't cutting it anymore. I just wanted something waterproof, lasts at least 2-3 days, easy to use, and gives me notifications. I'm probably easier to please when it comes to features than most people. It did the job just fine imo.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max is hard to use with one hand because of iOS, not screen size

I think I remember seeing this same article on here before but **YES,** iOS seriously needs to take cues from Samsung and make it much more one-handed friendly. No one should need to put filler on the top of the home screen just so they can have their apps closer to the bottom. Also add an option to swipe down *anywhere from the home screen to access the control center or notification shade.

Is it OK to appreciate Samsung?

I think Samsung took the safest way making their phones friendly instead of appealing a certain demographic, and betting on their screens. I honestly though Xiaomi was gonna compete with them, and in somehow they do in the budget market, but I can't see them getting to that same level of reliability.

Holy heck, I got irritated ears too. These earbuds are incredibly uncomfortable so I assumed it was just them rubbing, but it does feel more like a 'burn' if I wear them for too long.

This means common international products like samsung and LG are going to be rated online.. from cell phones to laundry washers and dryers, as long as these manufacturers dont start making france-only products to fight the ratings
