The Gigabyte M27Q is the best monitor for Mac in the budget category that we've tested. It's a great monitor for most uses, with a 27 inch, 1440p screen, great viewing angles, and an exceptional SDR color gamut. It's very bright in SDR, and the matte anti-reflective coating delivers decent reflection handling, so viewability isn't an issue in most viewing environments.

Viewing angles are definitely the panels weakness here especially compared to the IPS on my PG27UQ but given its curved design, from your typical seated position viewing angles aren't a problem its just when you have someone next to you looking at the screen, that is where the noticeable drop in quality occurs. HDR in games is great, eye popping visuals and the added width just has you completely immersed (width not specifially related to HDR but I just love it lol). The games I have tried with HDR are the Division 2, Destiny 2, Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 4, Metro Exodus, and Monster Hunter World. The PG27UQ does have an advantage when it comes to color reproduction and contrast in these games, but its not by a huge margin and that mainly due to the FALD system I would think
