Gigabyte Support, or lack of any live or online support is the problem
I really don't like to leave a negative review for this monitor however people do need to know that no matter how inexpensive this monitor is and how good the quality and the features, if you do need technical support from Gigabyte you can only get it through their esupport site using an online form...

The best 27 inch budget monitor we've tested is the Gigabyte M27Q. It's a versatile 1440p monitor that's impressive for gaming and good for office use if you want something cheaper than the Dell S2722QC and don't mind compromising on the resolution. Good value gaming monitor
The M27Q is performing very well as a 170 Hz QHD IPS gaming monitor (FreeSync). I think it's a good value for the price ($330) as of late-2020. The image quality is fine once properly configured and better than you would probably expect at this price. The built-in KVM is a nice bonus, but only pract...

Since the Gigabyte seems to be an unknown quantity with respect to quality control and service, I would probably buy the M27Q with a Best Buy replacement warranty. This means the monitors would effectively be the same price for me right now. My use case is 40% gaming / 40% office work / 20% photo editing (non-professional). I have a RTX 3070 and, when gaming, I primarily play single player RPGs/action adventure/single player FPS titles on high to ultra settings.
