So with all of that in mind it brings me onto my verdict and frankly I see the Asus ROG Strix XG27AQM being geared towards hardcore competitive gamers...

3. ELMB sync still has subtle crosstalk above 200 hz and less subtle crosstalk below 200 hz. TLDR: If you have REALLY good hardware and want best motion clarity, go for XG27AQM with ELMB (not ELMB sync although for me the crosstalk isn't bad enough and I do get enough motion clarity to see a jett dash in valorant to make a difference to get a shot off).

***Update*** I have decided to give this 3 stars as I do feel like it could be a great panel and ASUS support responded to this review pretty quickly so at the very least if you get lucky or are willing to go through RMAs for a better panel you'll be good. Unfortunately right now isn't the best time...

The 32inch is more immersive feeling and I would recommend sitting a bit further back from the screen. The PPI is of no concern at 32inch 1440p......everything looks good and sharp just as if you were viewing 1080p on a 25inch monitor. It boils down to preference to be honest but I think if you are a hard core competitive player you will probably want to stick with 27inch as it keeps your focus more centered rather than looking around a bigger screen.

My first monitor (waiting on the second) had a few issues, but I was overall happy with it over my previous MG279Q which was famous for bad motion blur while gaming. Asus RoG Swift PG279QM & Asus ROG Strix XG27AQM are very good choices. The difference is that the 1st is Native G Sync & Display Port 1.4 and the second is G Sync compatible Display Port 1.2 but goes up to 270Hz, in case that interests you. Acer has XB273U which is very similar to the Asus XG27AQM.
