 It boils down to preference to be honest but I think if you are a hard core competitive player you will probably want to stick with 27inch as it keeps your focus more centered rather than looking around a bigger screen.

Is 32 inch for 1440p bad?

 No reason I should have to wait another week for a product that I should never have had to return in the first place. “One day shipping” does not have much merit if the time it takes to get the product sent out the door is several days.

 With prices for 1440p high refresh rate monitors constantly going down, I wonder whether there still is a market for premium offerings like this one from Asus. It's the XG27AQ and while other models strive to be the cheapest in the market, this definitely does not. Instead, Asus tries to attract us with features like ELMB Sync, a refresh rate bump to 170Hz and local dimming. These features usually are absent in the lower price range

 Of course, the Delta E is relatively high as we're testing a wide gamma monitor against sRGB here, but the color use are pretty accurate, so that's not too big of a problem. And when we're testing against DCI-P3 instead, the Delta E even shrinks a bit. Now for somewhat serious color work, we have to perform an individual calibration and profiling nevertheless. The results are very good for both sRGB and DCI-P3 after doing so

Asus XG27AQ Review - Premium or Overpriced?

 You want to be having like a 3080 or higher or at least be looking forward to the next generation of GPUs as an upgrade to support those kind of pixels at that refresh rate. By all means you can also kind of consider it as a bit of a future proofing option for your setup as well. Maybe you're currently gaming in the kind of 165 hertz range but maybe you want that extra refresh rate headroom available to you in the future. That's something I can totally respect

 And the other side of this is that you do need a pretty hefty GPU to make use of these 1440p high refresh rate options. I mean don't plan on getting this if you have like a 3060 or a 3050 or something like that.  The only time i would suggest someone turn on ELMB sync is if the framerate is constantly above 120 hz and that is being generous. If the framerate is above 140 Hz, that's the ideal spot for ELMB sync.  COLORS  when it comes to color calibration, the monitor already comes in pre calibrated and rest assure they will give you a calibration map to prove it. This is the best part about the monitor, it really does come in calibrated when you receive it

It won't have any issues with 1080p signals from the PS4, and it downscales 4k @ 60Hz signals to 1440p, meaning you can use it with the PS4 Pro too. The response time at 60Hz is great as there's minimal motion blur, and it also has a backlight strobing feature to reduce persistence blur, but it causes image duplication with 60 fps content. It has a similar form factor as the ASUS ProArt Display PA278CV, with a 27 inch, 1440p screen, but it has worse viewing angles and a slightly worse stand, so it's not quite as versatile. It has an impressive SDR color gamut, with perfect coverage of the sRGB and the Adobe RGB color spaces, so it's a great choice for content creators, but colors appear over-saturated at times. It also supports HDR and can display an incredibly wide color gamut in the DCI P3 color space. It also has a USB-C input so you can connect your Mac Mini and display an image.

If you only use the monitor for text processing or browsing the web, go with the ASUS because it has better ergonomics, better viewing angles, and a USB-C port. If you need a wide color gamut or HDR support, go with the MSI.

The best Xbox Series S monitor for co-op gaming we've tested is the MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD. It has the same 1440p resolution as the Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75T, which makes it a good choice for the Series S, and you won't have any issues playing 1440p games up to 120 fps from the console on it.

It's better for co-op gaming because it has wider viewing angles, so the image remains accurate when viewing from the sides. It also has excellent ergonomics, so you can easily place the screen in an ideal viewing position and adjust it to your liking, whether you're co-op gaming or playing on your own. It has a lower max refresh rate than the Samsung, but it's still high at 165Hz, and motion looks smooth both at 120Hz and at 60Hz. Micro-Star International, otherwise known as MSI, makes computer parts and accessories with a focus on gaming. Like other brands, they're headquartered in Taiwan, and they started in 1986 by producing motherboards and entered the gaming industry in the late 2000s, so they haven't been involved in the industry as long as some other companies. Still, they offer great gaming monitors that are often at a low cost. While their lineup isn't as versatile and expansive as other brands, they focus on gaming and create good monitors for it. They have a few gaming monitor lineups, like the MEG Series, MAG ARTYMIS Series, Optix MAG Series, G Series, and the Oculux NXG Series. They have many 144Hz and 165Hz monitors, and they even have a 360Hz monitor if you want something with a higher refresh rate.

Sadly, most MSI monitors aren't ideal for office use as they're meant for gaming. They have a lot of 1080p monitors, meaning the text clarity isn't the best on those, and images aren't sharp. Their models also tend to have VA panels with limited ergonomics, so they're not good choices if you need to adjust the screen for someone sitting next to you as the image looks washed out. If you like your games to look extra colorful, the MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD is the best gaming monitor for your rig. This monitor posted the widest color gamut we&rsquo;ve ever recorded: 112.19% of DCI-P3 after our recommended calibration. 90% of DCI-P3 would be impressive, so this is one color-saturated screen. 
Contrast is also strong for an IPS panel, hitting 1,129.1:1 after our calibration. And for those concerned about speed, this 165 Hz screen kept up with the 170 Hz Gigabyte M27Q in our testing 
Color purists, however, will lament the lack of an sRGB mode, considering the MAG274QRF-QD&rsquo;s sRGB coverage is at 166.33%. Its backlight strobe for fighting motion blur is also a disappointment. You can&rsquo;t use Adaptive-Sync with it, the brightness goes down by about 50% and it created ghosting that resulted in a parallax effect with fast motion. In addition, this is yet another gaming monitor to offer HDR but without any noticeable image boost over SDR.
But if you can get past those caveats, you&rsquo;ll enjoy the most colorful monitor to ever hit our lab.

 This monitor's color accuracy produces an average delta e of 4.6 and with the lack of color modes for srgb, adobe, rgb or p3, there's no way to clamp the color gamut, so things will be saturated and also inaccurate. If you are a professional you'll want to get this monitor calibrated because calibrating it yields basically perfect results. If you're, just a general user who just wants to play, games, consume media or do some basic color work, then you should be happy with the out of the box performance

 Yes, other manufacturers have a similar feature and software, but they either don't carry over all of the functionality from the built-in osd or don't allow you to assign profiles to an app in the foreground. This does it all. Lastly, is the build and design? Fortunately, it's not as ugly as many other msi monitors like their esports focused lineup. It'S still not beautiful, like an alienware, but it's not bad
