Koss Porta Pro X: I use these when out and about as a beater pair. They're a little hyped up IMO. Way too bassy for my ears. But for the price, they can't be beat

Example: when someone has a deep voice opens their mouth and it pushes out sound. Overall, it is amazing for my midsized room. Con: The power is sometimes touchy. A power outage, unclean power, or putting the Sub on the wrong RCA cables can give you the Red/Green flashing issue

Very disappointing compared to other SVS subs

Yes that's a steep price step-up from the PB-2000 but the 2000 is just not worth spending the 800 dollars in the first place. Sorry to say but the 2000 range is like an unhappy mid point and compromise: too weak for a big, open floor and open ceiling living room, and too much for a small bed room. I recognize other people have positive experience with the PB-2000 but have they tried the 3000 or 4000 range? The app functionality is great, and I applaud SVS for including it in its full range of subs now, but note that to get the most out of it, you have to have an amp/pre-amp/AV unit that has its own sub functionality.

Not what I thought it would be...

This thing is huge... I bet the M-215s are a beast! I like the tank look of the subwoofer but you can tell they cut corners to make it cheaper

Square footage matters for sound

Before you purchase any SVS Sub know the size of your room, because the size of your room and the size of your sub definitely matters, In order to get the quality sound that you're looking for

I fixed all that and all I can say is this thing is a beast. It will introduce you to a different level of bass

Massive sound once set up is right

0dB's and the sub itself was on -10dB's. Cranked the levels up and it was louder, just not that chest hitting type of bass. After some time, I decided to play around with the app and the sub EQ and that's what made the sub thump. Now I started to feel the bass in my chest
