What mediocre car do you have a soft spot for?
2.5L inline 5 Golfs.
I've had a MK5 and a MK6 Gold 2.5 both in 5speed and absolutely love them. They ar the perfect size for me, have a great driving position, I like the engine and the way they look.

My basement theater project I have worked on the last year.
I put the screen together and it was garbage. There were vertical lines visible in every bright scene. And you could also sometimes see the perforations from 14-15ft away.

Finally pulled the trigger on a massive upgrade from my previous 55” TCL TV and sound bar that I bought secondhand in college

Still working on getting them dialed-in, but so far they are absolutely phenomenal.

Why I Bought Two Monster Subs
To ameliorate this, I placed high-density acoustic foam pads between the subs and speakers. With the pads installed, the organ’s bass pedals could thunder away without audibly affecting its upper ranks. The subs now rarely produce enough vibration to color the speakers, but when they do, the pads reduce the problem below the threshold where I would notice it.My approach is unorthodox.

HSU VTF-2 MK5 VS Rythmik LV12F VS SVS PB-1000 Pro
Absolutely in love with my VTF-2 MK5. Have heard wonderful things about Rythmik and SVS as well. Don’t think you can really go wrong with any of these.
Sub placement, details in comments.
But, I don't know anyone in real life who cares about this stuff so I figured I'd share it here. Orders finally opened up for HSU VTF-2 MK5 subs and I'm getting 2! Now the long wait for them to ship.
These HSU VTF-2 MK5 subs shook my house! 100 times better than the Klipsch.
