Just do it
I have been slowly building my system and this really should have been one of the first purchases I made. It seriously improves both the movie and music experience. I was previously using a Polk PSW-505 and was never really impressed with it and assumed it was because of how large our living room wa...

SVS PB-2000 Pro Review & Demo | A Booming Value!
But if you simply can't squeeze out that extra hundred bucks. The pp-2000 Pro is still a tough subwoofer to beat for its price, and it does have the advanced, app control, which I find very useful, especially for fine tuning. So those are my thoughts on the pp-2000 pro

My first home theater. Just wanted to say thank you for the help and insight. I still have a long ways to go, but its coming along nicely.
In the end I am very happy with them, they seem to sound great and pair well with my Denon X3700 since they don't need a ton of power. The Klipsch Atmos speakers are pretty pricey so I went with the Polk RC80I instead. They seem to do the job nicely. After lots of back and forth I ended up with an SVS PB-2000 PRO.
SVS PB-2000 Pro Ported Subwoofer Review
The PB-2000 Pro delivered a clean. reproduction that kept the music bass distinct from the effects sounds, so. there was never any confusion or muddiness between the various low-frequency

But none are as sophisticated, accomplished or musical as the SB-2000 Pro. Cracking value 10 Total Score This compact performer delivers deep but tightly controlled bass combined with higher-end features, making it a competitively priced option for both film and music

Dual Klipsch subs or one SVS sub?
I'd get the PB-1000 pro. You could add another one down the line depending on the size of your room. I, too, just upgraded my subs to a PB-2000 Pro and a PB-1000 Pro. I absolutely love them. They're better than anything I've ever owned in years!
SVS SB-2000 Pro subwoofer
Which, for a small sub in a small room, is excellent. The SVS SB-2000 Pro sub surprised me.

SVS SB-2000 Pro Subwoofer Review
Most significant, the SB-2000 Pro uses a wireless control app that offers adjustments far beyond the typical volume, crossover, and phase controls. Subwoofers with built-in automated room correction that takes the guesswork out of setting the various adjustments have been gaining in popularity in recent years. While the SB-2000 Pro doesn't offer that, the SVS subwoofer app lets you tweak parameters far beyond the basic volume, crossover, and phase controls found on most subs

Subwoofer for under $1k - HSU VTF-3 MK5 vs SVS PB-2000 Pro
I have the SVS pb 2000 pro. The HSU seems to be the slightly better sub but I would go for the SVS for the app controls and customer service.
One big problem for me.
Loved the sound, and the new grill style on the “pro” models is why I finally pulled the trigger... unfortunately the grill prongs did not line up with the subwoofer’s holes. The grill did not fit, and it lead to the rubber gaskets in the holes being ripped at and torn up when the grill prongs were ...
