 It'S good enough for me to use, but i definitely can see some people having that opinion. In my opinion, if korg was going to keep the same price tag, i do wish they kind of gutted the keys and spent more on the knobs and sliders and invested a little bit more into a better screen and just leave the keys off the machine when It comes down to the sound engine. Most of it is very impressive and really intuitive, i would say the weakest part of the whole entire machine is by far the filters. I actually had a talk with two friends on this topic

 Now, when it comes down to the op 6, it's a great machine, i love it. It can do amazing. Morphing sounds, which is by far my favorite aspect of the machine and the reason why i bought it create this kind of like digital madness. I i just love it personally but, as i stated there are some weak points and considerations

Korg OPsix Review & Beginner Tutorial // Easy to use FM synthesizer!

Ok so I have had the same issue in windows 10 with an Opsix for 2 week's, finally figured it out this afternoon as in "Device Manager" theres a rdnis driver with yellow apostraphy and no matter how many times I tried the Korg usb drivers they just didnt work so instead of bashing my head against the wall went into to choose driver network adapters / microsoft and finally USBRNDIS driver and bingo up pops my Opsix in devices. Not sure if this is the same on Windows 8 but worth a try right..

 Point on the patch Bay - that's actually quite nifty, because that assignable patch point means that through firmware updates, they can have it do lots of different things. It'S currently got a number of functions anyway, let's take a listen to a voice, starting with a sawtooth nice for the buzz good range on it. Let'S take a listen to the square wave, Oh for a long title variation of this they're moving on to the filter. The filter is actually quite interesting

For background, I primarily make dark ambient/drone and noisy techno, and I already have a Soma Lyra-8 and an Elektron Digitone (which often assumes drum duties—it's awesome for that). Seeing as I don't have a more conventional subtractive analog synth, I'm looking to fill that gap. But I don't want to be limited to conventional, which has drawn me to the world of semi-modular

What Should I Buy? /// Weekly Discussion - August 23, 2021

  I can't get past having separate sequences as parts to a song. It always feels disconnected and hard to polish a full track.  I feel like Ableton *might* help with seeing a track laid out and help with mixing but I'm worried it would add a whole new huge layer of complexity when I'm already still trying to figure out so much.  So would it be easier to work inside a DAW when it comes to mixing and song structure?  Did I mess up by starting to learn music dawless?

 It sounds awesome. One could wish for a second oscillator like the Minitaur, but then the price would be a bit more too. Since it's Eurorack compatible, you can add another oscillator if you are going to use this in a skiff and build on it with other modules. If you want a bass synthesizer though that is stand alone, then perhaps the Minitaur is the way to go
