 Which is a travesty on a semi-modular synth: the whole point is the patchability, and that needs to be robust to ensure it lasts.  No more chances from me, Behringer - I've decided your reputation for shoddy quality is, sadly, very richly deserved. Should You Buy It? - Behringer Neutron

 The Neutron uses some 3rd arty app that makes you change the USB driver to be able to connect then you lose MIDI in doing this, you then have to change USB driver back to get the firmware to work and it connect to your system. Also you might get the LFO freeze glitch n the firmware as well. It happened to em and i had to back the firmware down to a lower then step it back up to not get the glitch. Download the USB STM Driver which can be found HERE [[URL REMOVED] Its a real pain in the ass to get this all done

  The truly irksome thing is that they sent the synth back as repaired, which it certainly wasn't, and when I questioned them an what they'd done, they'd just installed the firmware and then tested it with a midi cable into the synth, nearly avoiding the problem of a malfunctioning, poorly written or dead USB driver.  Why update the firmware for USB and then tested it with a midi cable?  So now I'm left with sidelining this synth of the main USB hub and acquiring a function midi to USB converter/host to drive it from one of my USB A equipped keyboards.  So sad.

02 driver pack so even though I'm a software engineer and delayed doing the up date until I had some time in case anything went wrong, and then we were on lockdown. It breaks my heart to rate this so low...

This is my first analog synthesizer and I'm not looking back. I always lacked is a nice low end in my tracks and always wondered why I cannot get it to sound so good like popular artists whether I use serum, sylenth1 etc. Neutron is amazing at bass sound, very nice and deep! As well as at everything else too. Filter sounds great! You will not be disappointed

I am definitely gonna get more analog synthesizers and try moog, heard nothing beats it's filter, so that's my next on the list) Neutron is the best investment I made, I got so many possibilities for the price.

Quality Analog for Less

 The keys are smaller than full size keys but much larger than the keys from the microKorg. It's very easy to glide around from key-to-key. The 16 step sequencer is great. It's intuitive and easy to use

I can't stress enough how incredibly amazing this little monophonic synth is

If it had only cost $50-100 i would be content with purchasing it. But for $300 it's just not worth buying. Wish id played with one before i threw my money away.

I needed a midi bass synth module to trigger from bass pedals for modern contemporary praise and worship music. This is super flexible, more than the Moog, and sound outstanding. For all but the most discerning analog connoisseurs, this truly delivers, and at a great looking, great sounding, great priced package. Oh, and I love being able to use batteries - gets a lot of life and eliminates yet another chord to keep the platform looking neat
