I can't stress enough how incredibly amazing this little monophonic synth is
I can't stress enough how incredibly amazing this little monophonic synth is. The fact that it's $300 is mind blowing. It's little but don't let that fool you. It's easy to go up or down octaves (for both VCOs). The envelope only has attack and decay but the rate and intensity knobs will allow you t...
Retro industrial metal sounds
Very nice analogue synth. Gives a narly retro sound very industrial metal, sequencer is easy to program once you master a few specific key presses. I'm very cheap, but feel good about spending my $$ on this device. Love the battery power option for being totally mobile.
Ancient and modern Korgs
My 1st synthesizer was a Univox -Mini Korg. That was back in '75, in high school. It was a heavy beast of wood and metal, with a beautiful sound. I also had a Univox echo chamber, that ran on a tiny 8-track tape. In the late '80s, I had a Mini Korg 2. (2 oscilators). That was a great one! I noted th...
Great analog monobeast. Fantastic drum machine.
Strong and capable little synthesizer. If you've done your research on what this thing can do and seen plenty of demonstrations and you STILL want to buy it, just do it already--you won't regret it!! For the money you can't go wrong. This thing is super versatile, and it actually doubles as an analo...
Highly recommended for synth newbies
I own this synth for nearly two years. It was the first synth i purchased to get into the hobby as a person not having any musical training. The Monologue offers a step sequencer you easily understand and instant access to a lot of buttons - which you may not understand as a beginner, but you get go...
GREAT Affordable synth
This is my second analog synth. I got it to sync with my Korg Electribe & it lives it to all expectations. Very fun and with a few YouTube tutorials & a quick look through the manual you can get to jammin' in no time. It arrived a day before Amazon said it would too!
Better for me than the Minitaur
I needed a midi bass synth module to trigger from bass pedals for modern contemporary praise and worship music. This is super flexible, more than the Moog, and sound outstanding. For all but the most discerning analog connoisseurs, this truly delivers, and at a great looking, great sounding, great p...
Highly underrated synth
I can't believe the Monologue isn't a more popular synth. Heck, just the sequencer alone would cost you $150 as a standalone device. This thing can make some crazy gnarly sounds unlike any other synth because of it's ridiculously fast LFO modulation and extra sharp sounding filter. You can store 100...
A beautiful monophonic synth
I wish this had been my first synth purchase, sadly I went through many lesser instruments before purchasing this beautiful machine. I’ve owned the infamous OP-1, almost all of the Korg Volcas, the Elektron Model:Samples, and just about every pocket operator. If I could do it over again, I would hav...
