My wife and I share an office when we work from home, so it doesn't make sense to have open backed headphones anymore. I currently use Sennheiser HD700s. I'm not particularly found of the upper end on these headphones for music but they've been great for gaming. So, after watching tons of Youtube videos, I decided on the Arturia Microfreak...and I'm glad I did! It has a LOT of sound design potential, and using the Mod Matrix is a joy

So, I cannot in good faith recommend the Valhalla 2 since I hear no "tube magic". It does however look slick AF and is aesthetically pleasing to look at and that adds to the listening experience in and of itself.
