That BB434? Perfectly fine instrument and if it’s comfortable then I say go for it.

It is a very nice color and great quality but i had received it with a damaged tuning nob. One of the string can not be tuned. I need to pay to get it fixed now.

I have a the BB434, and a Revstar 420(guitar), both have been wonderful and reliable instruments. I didn't go looking for Yamahas when I was searching for a guitar and bass, But its what I ended up with. Comfortable, decent sounding and well priced, the best instruments out there?

Consider a Yamaha BB434 (or BB734 if it's in your price range). A BB434 new is only 500 dollars, and it's one of the best basses you can get at the price range. It's a really solid PJ bass with a solid jazz pickup and an outstanding precision pickup IMO. If you can find one at a guitar store I'd recommend trying it out and seeing how you like it.

Have not regretted it ever. Started with a Squier, but the truss rod was broken, and happened to pick up a 434 just to try it out. I immediately swapped for the BB. Squier is absolutely fine, but I fell in love with the sound, the neck, and the color (sunburst).

UPDATE Opened it up, grey, poorly soldered joints, and output jack has one wire soldered to it, and a broken solder point on the other lead. WOW - and there is NO unconnected wire! WTF - JUNK, JUNK! Do NOT sleep on yamaha basses people. My first yamaha was a 2018 BB434 (basically the modernized version of what I got today) and I've been sold since. They outplay things twice their price. This thing has an ebony fingerboard, p-bass pickup config, and neck through construction... Sheeeeesh.
