The waffle maker is easy to use and easy to clean. On top of the falcon is a light and it will show you when the grill is ready. The waffle it self is evenly cooked.

 I thought I had it all cleaned, wiping down with a warm soapy wash cloth, carefully (the plates are not removable without unscrewing them), but learned the hard way that there was plenty more under the heat plates that leaked when the waffle maker was stored on its side. I feel less confident in its use but we’ll see. This is definitely a design flaw.
