 So right now it's sitting down, but when we're going to flip the walk down, order sitting to lift it up and flip it over to the other side so again that's lifted. I Can tip it over to the other side so it's really nice and small. When you want to store it, you can just flip the waffle maker up, stand it up, and put it away so the inside has the ceramic nonstick plates which have no chemicals. They're supposed to be completely nonstick, so the waffles will hopefully come right off

 So let's turn it on. try out some waffles, and okay, so here we come. Presto Flip Side: Belgian Waffle Maker out of the box I Plugged it in in this little red light on his side went on and that should tell us when the waffle maker is heated up. It also has this dial right here which is the timer so you can set the timer and it will tell you when the waffles are done

 Looks like you look pretty much the same so they coach fairly evenly on both sides thanks to the flip function. I'm gonna grab a plate and see if the waffle is pop out evenly. They did come off the plates really nice, so hopefully they'll come right off of the ceramic plate with no waffle better. This waffle maker is the BEST. I have owned this make waffle maker for years, but the plates got so that the waffles just stuck all the time. I bought this one, with the new ceramic stick free plates, and a good waffle maker went to GREAT. No more clean up

Fantastic Belgium waffle maker

 In mid-February I paid $40 on Amazon. It wasn't on sale. It's now mid-April and the Amazon price is $69. That's seems like a little more than inflation

This unit replaced my Cuisinart - the thermostat failed after many years of good service but, I have to say, the Presto makes a better Waffle. The timer is manual and you have to remember to set it each time. But, unlike the claims of some reviewers, it most certainly has a thermostat. I like that it's compact and sits vertical on my counter but the latch that keeps it vertical is flimsy

 Takes like 30 seconds to beat back up for the next waffle. It's not awesome to clean so try not to have spill out. I don't use nonstick spray. After I seasoned the waffle maker with vegetable oil the first time, I just pour the batter directly in, close, and flip

 I was torn between this one, the Oyster one that makes 1 1/2 inch waffles, and the Waring Pro double waffle maker. The latter was like $75-$80 and said it weighed over 10 pounds!!! Which is fine if you want to lug that thing around to your girlfriends/boyfriends house in your overnight bag. I'm single and will forever be alone so I don't have that problem. But still too heavy to take anywhere in my opinion

 Ok back to the thing... For my first ever waffle maker, I can say with all honesty, I made the best choice

So I read the reviews and searched dozens of waffle makers. I compared prices on eBay, Amazon, and Target. Looked in Good Housekeeping and Better Homes. Finally I found something that had high consistent reviews, made thick waffles (1 inch), and was a great price

Nice the design

 I thought I had it all cleaned, wiping down with a warm soapy wash cloth, carefully (the plates are not removable without unscrewing them), but learned the hard way that there was plenty more under the heat plates that leaked when the waffle maker was stored on its side. I feel less confident in its use but we’ll see. This is definitely a design flaw.

Clean up not easy

The only drawback is it takes a few attempts before you figure out how much batter to pour in, to get a full Millennium falcon instead of half of one.
