The Dash Mini Maker is a pint-sized waffle machine that is budget-friendly and makes a decent enough waffle. With no setting for doneness or any controls to speak of, you'll have to keep a constant eye on your waffles as they cook. While it has a built-in light to tell you it's reached peak cook time, it isn't super noticeable and takes some vigilance to ensure you don't burn your waffle. Despite not having a timer, the heating element was relatively consistent, allowing you to make a uniform batch of waffles with little effort. The tiny size makes for minimal cleanup, and the nonstick cooking surface is easy to wipe down. The overflow basin is small but always managed to catch the few drips spilled during use. 
The Mini Maker's simple design might be what some people are after, while others will find the lack of controls frustrating. The entire machine does get rather hot, and the small lid makes it easy to touch the cooking surface accidentally. While not as fancy as other waffle makers, this model allows you to have delicious waffles at home while saving you both space and money.

  You can make the most amazing waffles with this thing using just canned cinnamon rolls. Without everyone having to wait forever for cinnamon rolls to be baked in the oven. Get a can of the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing. Now you can use the icing as-is, but you can make it "pourable" by adding a few ingredients

  We use Krusteaz Belgian waffle mix, although just about any waffle or pancake mix will do. We recently got a KPKitchen batter dispenser for pancakes and waffles, which makes it easier to get just the right amount of batter into the waffle iron each and every time.  WHAT IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BATTER DISPENSER?  Quick pro tip I can offer you. Don't have a fancy measured batter dispenser? Next time you finish off a bottle of ketchup, mustard, squeeze jelly, etc, don't throw away the container

 Best of all, you don't have to use all of the batter at once. When you're done making waffles, just close the cap, and stick the bottle in the fridge. It will usually stay good for 2-4 days, just don't leave it at room temp for more than two hours at a time.  BACK TO MAKING THE WAFFLES

Here it Is: The Waffle Maker Hack You Never Thought Of

 Depending on your dressing time and wolfing speed, you should finish just about the time the 3 minutes is up, and, wall-ah!, you have waffle #2 ready, the first of "n" waffles, where "n" is large with respect to 1 (for you waffle fans who were math majors). You can repeat this process until you, or your supplies, run out.  Each waffle is fresh, hot, and ready to eat. No cutting up a big one so that it'll fit on your plate

 No sharing. No fixing a bunch, guessing how many will be enough, stacking them up, waiting until your finished (after making waffle #1), while having them all cooled down and sagged.  You gotta remember to unplug the waffle maker when done, or it will stay on forever, and that, like infinity, is a real long time, especially when you get toward the end (Woody's joke, as I recall). And it's hot, so it could burn an unsuspecting or careless wanderer; it would also prevent your hiding your indulgence from an otherwise unsuspecting occupant

  Next on the cautions to avoid disappointment: this little baby has no features. It has no on/off switch, even. No temperature adjustment. No auto shut-off

  But, here's where it excels: solo 'factory eating' waffle making and eating. You plug it in right at tableside. Wait for the blue light to go out indicating it's ready (takes a minute or so). Then begin: (1) spray with a light blast of cooking oil (not essential but it makes pulling off the waffle easier), (2) spoon in 2-3 big spoonfuls of waffle stuff, (3) close the lid and set a timer (3 minutes seem about perfect), (3) pop open the lid, lift out the waffle, repeat steps 1 - 3, while you dress up and wolf down waffle #1

I need to make waffles and freeze them for traveling each week. I purchased one of these, a little hesitant about how well it would perform but I am so amazed that I spent the extra $10 and got a 2nd one for knocking out a dozen waffles quickly.  I've now made literally hundreds of waffles in the Dash Mini over the last year, and every single one has come out perfect.

I actually asked a Facebook person about their waffles that I saw (homemade pumpkin spice waffles, yum) and they said this is what they used. This is someone I quite trusted so I ordered one. Mine was delivered today and my guy really wanted waffles tonight. I cleaned the plates, sprayed lightly with some EVO and followed the included recipe for basic waffles
