Was looking for an iron that would make classic - ie thin - waffles. Think Waffle House waffles. This is not it. I should have known better; how can the same iron do both Belgian and classic waffles? However it makes a good waffle, with nifty settings for light/darkness, cook times, etc.

Just a warning - high is really high and it took many adjustments to get them to come out right. Had to go down numerous settings to get it still brownish but not burned - other than that - once you get the hang of it it's great
