Battery – I don’t have a 5G contract, so I disabled 5G, set brightness to adaptive and so far I am getting 7 to 8 hours plus of screen on time, so no complaints. Charging does seem a little slower, but to 50/60% it’s about the same. Calls – no problems. BT – no problems with my Samsung Buds, my Motorcycle Intercom system, Sony WH-100XM3 or anything else.

However, we would still recommend the Galaxy S22 Ultra, since the problems we mentioned will probably be resolved via update and such a long update period of four or five years can otherwise only be found with Google. In addition, you probably get one of the brightest and most accurate displays that can be found in a smartphone, a powerful S Pen, the most current communication technology, a great voice quality, eSIM support, Samsung Dex at this point even for Windows, UWB, and even a really good battery life

I would have kept this phone 100% if it came with the Google launcher, but this samsung ui isn't for me. Dare i say, i even found iphones sluggish compared to my pixel. I should have known better just by this that Samsung isnt the way for me. At this point, the only option i have is to stay with Pixel, since i am spoilt by it, and just hope that they use better hardware all around, from processor to the fingerprint sensor in future iterations.

For someone who does plan to make regular use of its powerful but rather niche features, the S22 Ultra will be a phone like no other on the market. Some UI quirks remain, and battery life is disappointing. But if you can live with these shortcomings and navigate the sometimes steep learning curve of the S Pen life, then you’ll be well rewarded with a device that’s truly one of a kind

At 4x zoom it wasn't even close Holy shit. It was NIGHT AND DAY I TELL YOU. This was the case across anything 4x and farther compared to the 4xl zoom. I only ever found myself needing only 10x zoom at most and there is so much detail on the 6pro zoom that I honestly think it would be good enough to print out photos from it up till 10x zoom.

Overall the S22 ultra is a pretty good phone, however their are a few let downs. The battery life is only slightly improved from my old S10, the phone is HEAVY compared to the S10, which of course expected given that it's much larger.
