MASSIVE Downgrade from S9!
Cheap plastic backing, HORRIBLE 407 ppi, UGLY reds, poor screen quality overall, no headphone jack, downgraded power supply (used to be glossy with nice, visible grey lettering), no headphones included, sluggish fingerprint reader, and genuinely the most DISGUSTINGLY cheap Samsung galaxy S series ph...

Pixel 2 to Pixel 5 = Fantastic phone!
Same - no cons from me. No gap, it works perfectly for everything I need to do with my phone.
SHAME on Samsung for this 'budget' phone!
Nothing 'Budget' about the price on this phone and yet they still found a way to justify REMOVING high use features that have been available to their 'faithful' users for YEARS on previous models. This will not be my last phone but it will be my LAST SAMSUNG! If you like to associate different ringt...

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G review
The Galaxy S20 FE is equipped with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display - it doesn't carry the 'Dynamic' branding of the other S20s or the Note20 Ultra. So it's also kind of like the vanilla Note20, only better - it does support a 120Hz refresh rate, unlike the plain Note. Resolution is FullHD, or 1080x2...

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro long-term review
You can argue about the Galaxy S20 FE being more potent in this regard, but look at the price delta too - at the moment, it's around €200 more expensive than the Mi 10T Pro (we're comparing to the 5G model since the Xiaomi also has 5G). If the improvements in that area, along with the OLED screen, are worth that much to you, then that's a great option too.
Best $700 phone with SD card support?
I'd recommend throwing the Galaxy S20 FE in the ring for that set of requirements as well. I picked one up a couple of weeks ago thanks to a fairly similar set of requirements, and am happy with it so far. No issues at all using my 256GB SD card. It's about your price range, I just picked up the Verizon version for $700 exactly.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Exynos) Camera review: Versatile option with a good ultra-wide
On the plus side, video stabilization is a good strength for the S20 FE. Our testers observed some residual motion and frame shifts, but overall this Samsung device has a good grasp of controlling unwanted motion effects in handheld videos. Conclusion

Current Mobile Setup
Started out by buying the KZ ZS10 PROs playing them through my old Pixel 3xl's Type C - 3.5mm adapter on my Galaxy S20 FE and they sounded pretty great without any sort of EQ. Not to mention the excellent passive noise cancelation afforded by the tight fit and shape of the housing.

The elephant in MY room
What nobody anywhere is talking about and I wonder why I wonder if I am more sensitive to this as I upgraded from a quite old Note 4 that I had rooted and was running mostly aftermarket apps on. But when I "upgraded" to this phone I was blown away by the staggering amount of bloatware and intrusive ...

Verdict: Customized Galaxy S20
Its 6.5-inch form factor also makes it more handy than the Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The fan edition carries its name rightfully: The Galaxy S20 FE 5G convinces by its very good price-performance ratio and brings along all core qualities, that characterize the remaining Galaxy-S20 smartphones
