Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik Reviewed
raight-sided cylinder with a very narrow bezel, distinctive angled lugs, a sapphire crystal above the dial, a sapphire window in the caseback and water resistance to 30 meters. Last but not least: The Appearance of the Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik. Our tested watch is attached, as usual, to an eye-appealing Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap, although a vegetal-tanned cowhide strap is also available for the Champagne version

[SOTC] three years of watch collecting... what have I gotten myself into?
From left to the right: the Seiko SKX013, the Tudor Black Bay 58 in black, the Grand Seiko SBGA413, the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 38 and the Nomos Tangente 38. I started in the watch collecting path after acquiring the Nomos. I do not see this watch in the long term in my collection although I really like it. The movement is well decorated and the dial, while simple, is beautiful, but the case feels delicate and not to the same quality as the rest of the watch.
[SOTC] My current 3 piece collection; a diver, dress and tool watch.
Very happy with this current 3 piece that includes a manual wind Nomos Tangente as dress watch, Quartz Omega AT as tool watch and off course the BB58 as a diver powered by the in-house automatic movement of Tudor. Thinking about adding a chrono and maybe a vintage piece in the future, preferably a DJ.
[SOTC] My three watch collection
The Nomos Tangente is my first “real” watch and still remains my chosen dress watch, even though I do love the aesthetic of the Black Bay fabric strap with a navy suit jacket. Last but not least, the Sinn 104 is my “beater” watch, since in my lifestyle nothing I do would ever actually damage it, but it is the watch I would wear when going hiking or to the dog park with my pups.
Nomos Tangente Watch Review
Priced between €780 – 980 including 19% sales tax, the Stowa runs between $900 – 1130 without tax. Nomos Tangente vs. Stowa Antea KS 41Conclusion
[Nomos] My First Big Boy Watch
After a very chaotic year I decided to make a purchase I have wanted to make for some time now. I've been looking at the Nomos Tangente for quite a while, but unfortunately I hadn't been able to afford it. My most expensive watch purchase until this one had been about 300$. But after a rollercoaster of a year I decided to purchase a higher tier watch.

[SOTC] What would you buy next?
My boi right here, fist bump. Judging from the roles and price range of these, the next one I would go with a Nomos Tangente. I mean come on, gotta give leather some love. While there is a Orion/Ludwig/Tangente trio from Nomos and I'm typically the Orion/Ludwig guy, I personally would pick Tangente for your collection because Orion is the minimalist, Ludwig is the classical and Tangente is the modern twist.
[SOTC] Wound at Christmas
I do enjoy a good digital watch and this is a little different from the usual G Shocks that I wear. Comfortable and had a few compliments with this. 2) Nomos Tangente 38.

Again, I think they all work, but the middle size is my preference on looks.

[Recommendation] What are your essential watches?
Hamilton Khaki Field
Seiko Alpinist
Seiko SKX
More upscale:
Nomos Tangente 35
Tudor Black Bay 36
Rolex Explorer in 36mm
These are my choices so I feel they are good suggestions but everyone’s taste will vary wildly.
