Great Amp for the money
Purchased the PM6007 as a replacement for my PM6005, which I gave to my son. The updates - DAC, phono stage and sub woofer input to name a few - make this an almost perfect amp for the money. It looks great with my Marantz CD player and synchs up perfectly. Paired with Elac speakers and Project turn...

Review: Marantz PM6007 amplifier & Marantz CD6007 CD player - Son-Vidé blog
Marantz PM6007 – Marantz CD6007: conclusion We had a great time during our review of the Marantz PM6007 amplifier and Marantz CD 6007 CD player. They are very easy to set up and use everyday, and they’re the perfect solution for anyone who wants to build a high fidelity stereo system without breaking the bank. Music sounds natural with the Marantz PM6007 and Marantz CD6007

Sounds great and plenty of power!
I was concerned 45 WPC wouldn't cut the mustard but man this thing rocks. Imo sounds louder than my Onkyo HT receiver that's supposedly 125 per. I'm pushing a pair of KEF q350's and I barely turn it over a quarter most of the time. The built in phono stage is on par with my pro-ject phono box s, muc...

B Product instead of a new unit.
The Marantz PM 6007 arrived but upon unpacking I noticed that this was a B product PM-6007. I reached out and 1 week later I received a new Marantz PM-6007. I sent the B product back using the prepaid label that was sent to me as I requested. So far pretty good as I also had previously purchased the...

Even though they both output just about the same amount of power (NAD 40W 8ohms, Marantz 45W) it just feels like the PM6007 is breezing through with ease somehow, this I don't quite know how to explain. It also seems more coherent with more precise imaging, but again this could just be because of the newer technologies removing more noise so I can actually hear less interference in the background and end up picking up more details.

Marantz PM6007 Integrated Amplifier First Look - HomeTheaterReview
Sonically, the PM6007 does what it is designed to do – deliver a nice, pleasing sound with wide dynamics and sufficient power to play loudly enough to grab one’s attention. I retrieved a folding chair from the closet, moved it a little closer to the rack than my normal listening position, and was surprised at the imaging I heard. There was a nice center image and even imaging beyond the side boundaries
