LG 34GP83A-B
The LG 34GP83A-B is a great ultrawide gaming monitor. It has a large, curved screen that provides amazing immersion when gaming and tons of real estate for work. It has fast response time, low input lag, and you can overclock its 144Hz refresh rate up to 160Hz to deliver smoother and more responsive...

You Will Not Regret Ascension
This is a review for the LG 34GP83A. I saved up for months to get an ultrawide curved and I'm enamored with the quality that LG has delivered. Shopping for a monitor is a really confusing endeavor - the naming scheme is bonkers, it's hard to understand what combination of specifications meet your ne...

What’s currently the best 34” ultra-wide for gaming (under $1000)? Looking to get an ultra-wide as my main monitor with a 27” on the side in portrait mode.
After a ton of research I came to buying the LG 34GP83A-B for $800. Arrives today so I could tell you later how it is. It has a lot of great reviews though.
An Amazing Piece of Display Technology!
We had a beautiful relationship while it lasted. I had eyes for perfection and you brought that perfection, 34GP83A-B. You really did. You were flicker-free. You were G-Sync Certified. You were of the highest quality IPS available and brought me the fastest GTG (1ms) and refresh rate (144-160hz) a g...

Warning to AW3420DW owners. Do not remove the film on the screen panel of the monitor
It's there on the LG 34GP83A-B as well. Looks to be because the panel enclosure is rounded on the top corners, but the film has a 90 degree angle. Never going to be able to unsee that now. Thanks for ruining my new monitor for me.
[Monitor] GIGABYTE - 34" LED UltraWide WQHD- $399 (BestBuy - Back in Stock)
I Just purchased the LG 34GP83A-B through amazon which is set to land on Sunday. Wondering if I should snag this instead as it was originally the monitor I was after. I all into the LG for $250 as I had gift cards available, with the Gigabyte I would essentially have no out of pocket cost.
buy right or buy twice
I'm literally you, reading through reviews wondering if this monitor is worth nearly 900 bucks. Honestly, it is. I spent way too much time returning budget crap options, if you're ok with VA smearing on lower end monitors and don't play fast paced games then fine, but for me the colors out of the bo...

Help me ascend, 34": Dell S3422DWG vs. LG 34GN850-B
I've tried both these monitors and ended up keeping the LG. I first bought the Dell S3422DWG as my first ultrawide but coming from a 170Hz IPS 27" monitor, ghosting/black smearing were a bit noticeable. Ended up returning it and getting the LG 34GP83A-B. The difference in performance is enough for me to justify the $350 price increase however like with all things diminishing returns are real.
The best money can buy - if you have the PC to back it up
I notice not too many reviews are for the 38inch Ultrawide version, so I will add one. I am running this monitor on a brand new build - i7 9700k, 2080ti, 64GB 3000mhz RAM. Everything overclocked. It maintains about 120-140hz at max settings in new games with v-sync on. It is buttery smooth. Seriousl...
