Until this issue and the Gsync issue (which is most likely on Nvidia's side and will be fixed with the new driver update) do not buy the LG CX if you are expecting a true 4k 120Hz 4:4:4 experience, it is not acceptable with the 4:2:2 issue and you should not spend 1.5k or even 2k+ USD/Euro on this TV until LG has fixed this. LG Electronics has considered selling parts of its operations or pulling out of the smartphone business altogether. But it decided recently to pull out of the smartphone business altogether. So instead of selling it to Google, Vingroup or whatever, the decided to pull out and relocate its mobile communications employees to other business units.

This means common international products like samsung and LG are going to be rated online.. from cell phones to laundry washers and dryers, as long as these manufacturers dont start making france-only products to fight the ratings

LG's biggest problem was their inferior supply chain and distribution network. they'd announce phones and 6 months later it still won't be on the shelves.

Why would you go to the effort of engineering a panel that can achieve all of this and then trip right before the finish line by not including an HDMI 2.1 connector - and then charge *this price* for it?. And I've just firmly shat on LG here but this was just an example.

What I find weird about this whole thing is that everyone is pretty much saying this is a good monitor and they would recommend.

What is LG corporate seeing that the reviewers aren't seeing?

Ordered a new LG Fridge( LMXS28626S ) that was supposed to be delivered and installed yesterday(10/14). I was at work unfortunately so my girlfriend was at home to receive it. The guys came into my house and measured the doorways and said that the fridge was too big to fit through the door frame going into the kitchen even with the doors off. They said they wouldn't be able to get it through and weren't willing to attempt it.

I recently bought an LG27UL600, just a standard 4k monitor designed for just all around use. I bought it because my son uses the 4k QLED, missus uses the OLED while I game etc so wanted a second screen to use while the other panels are in use. This monitor cost me £300 and it is leagues ahead of all my other gaming displays when it comes to picture quality. Leaving sharpness out of it, the image is more uniform, it has higher contrast than the gaming LG's calibrated out of the box, look quite good, the screen coating isn't overly grainy unlike 99% of gaming screens, no silly P3 with lack of good sRGB mode making video games look like rainbow road.
