PS: Thank you /r/thinkpad for helping me appreciate this brand as fellow end users. Having a solid machine is very important to me and I scored my used P50 at a steal price ($400) almost 2 years ago and treated it to some tasty mods. Also, I was never hyped on ultraportables nor convertible laptops, but I must say the X1C and X1Y are really useful machines. Left to right: T540p, T570, X1YG2, X1CG4, T460s, T450s.

Great laptop with some nice upgrades

Great laptop with some nice upgrades. However it had a bit more scratches on it than the seller said it did. I'm satisfied, but would have been nice to be told about the numerous top scratches and wear marks.

A used work station like a lenovo thinkpad from the p range or a HP zbook no more than a few years old and get the best spec you can find.

Eventually, we were acquired by a larger company that uses Dell (YUCK) for everything, and my T460s was retired. Later on, we had an IT closet clear-out, so I picked up my old work laptop (no hard drive) for $100 (CAD)! 1440p screen, 12GB RAM, battery life still around 5 hours. The body is a little beat up from full-time use over multiple employees, but not bad for 100 bucks.
