Korg Volca FM. I had the Yamaha Reface DX and the volca is just better all around (besides polyphony. and I'm a terrible player so it's okay)

I just didn't like the sounds this thing made. I love Korg products and own another Volca (Sample) and the Minilogue XD, but this was week. It's kind of the ukulele of the synth world - ha! oh, yeah, I own 7 other synths for reference.

I've bought korg volca fm and PO-12 Rythm. However I'm not satisfied with this setup. Volca is really cool, but the PO drums aren't the sound I'm looking for - they are kind of harsh and cold.

It is a small toy with great sounds. The small knobs and keys are not user friendly . The Midi jacks are another dillema.

Volca Keys is how I learned synthesis and moved on to more complex units. Can’t recommend it enough - it’s compact, uncomplicated, sounds great, and is a blast to mess around with.
