I think it's got a good lumbar support overall comfortable chair, not overly thick padding. It's still well supported, [ Music, ].

I have 3 options Fern Zody and Very all at a didcounted price of only ~38% of what retail price is plus shipping cost.

[CHAIR] MyOfficeInnovations Technical Mesh Task Chair Red (Same model as Staples Hyken) $157.40 ($146.41 for Gray)

I had this chair and while it's definitely better than most gaming chairs that people normally buy it's still not as comfortable as a dedicated task char. I recently found a fully specced Haworth Very for $60 locally that beats this in every way. I recommend to save the money and look for sales locally if you live in a big city.

Picked up two [Haworth Very Task from facebook marketplace for $40 each, one for myself and one for my mom. :) The left armrest on mine is starting to crack up however, so I’ll either have to buy replacement handrests for $50 from Haworth or buy an arm pad cover that can stretch over my existing arm rests. Nonetheless, I’m incredibly happy with my new chair!.

I just bought a Zody for around the same price. I’ve loved it! My previous workplace had Haworth Very which I liked lot more than the Aeron we have at the current one.

Buy used high end chair, or new affordable?

Definitely go with a used/refurbished high-end ergo chair. I’ve been keeping my eye on FB Marketplace for a few months, and I’ve managed to score a couple Leaps for $100-200, an Aeron for $200, and some Haworth Very’s for $25 each!
