 So this lumbar adjustment is really unique because it has height adjustment, a big height adjustment range, but then you can also flip these triggers so that you can have more lumbar support on one side compared to the other. So if you want more lumbar on this side, you turn the knob and then you can kind of play with it and customize it to your needs. So backrest is, are pretty high goes up to my shoulders. I think it's got a good lumbar support overall comfortable chair, not overly thick padding

 It'S not the standard mesh. This is gon na, be a step up from their entry-level chair. So talk to me one of the most expensive chairs, but it still has good adjustability.  So in terms of just pure comfort with the arm caps themselves. I do think that the fern is a little bit of an upgrade to the very and to the soji, but i do feel that the zodi arm caps are still going to be a little bit more comfortable. Now, when we switch over and look at just the pure adjustability of the arms, i think the fern has a pretty big advantage over the previous three models. It has four-way adjustment with huge ranges, but it also has a unique articulating motion that we've seen on other chairs, like the leap and like the gesture, and this really just allows you to put the arms into a lot more positions

 I have gone back to my $100 office chair from Office Depot that is armless and has way more back and bottom cushioning. Moreover, it does not hurt my bottom and back with the old chair.

 It is way too stiff and the bottom part does not have enough cushioning. My back and bottom started hurting after several days of using this chair. At first the swiveling, non-lockable arm rests did not bother me, but soon became a pain in that they always move, even when I'm sitting down working. The chair is heavy to move, so you have to move it from the back support, and not the arms as they will swivel and move

 So disappointed. I would NOT recommend buying. I have gone back to my $100 office chair from Office Depot that is armless and has way more back and bottom cushioning. Moreover, it does not hurt my bottom and back with the old chair

 Overall disappointed in this purchase of an almost a $1,000 chair. It is past the return time on Amazon, so I'm stuck with a too firm, overpriced chair. So disappointed. I would NOT recommend buying

Overpriced, hard to sit on for long periods of time

I considered another one, a Workpro 9000, but ultimately smartened up to the prevailing winds here and just put in an order for a remanufactured Steelcase Amia with extra foam through Crandall. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to this group for hosting a wealth of knowledge on the topic, I’m really looking forward to a proper chair. Stay healthy!.

 My former chair seat was hitting the backside of my knee so I tended to scoot forward which then made me slump. No more. I have the seat adjusted so I can sit up straight with my back against the back of the chair. The adjustable arms allow me to get right up under my desk and adjustable height means my feet are flat on the floor like they should be

First it comes fully assembled. Peel the box off the chair and you are basically ready to use. Set the height, arm placements and you will be experiencing the best chair ever. I am 55 years old and not a small person

 It took about three months for the cushion on the cheap chair to give out. The cushion on the Amia lasted about four months. Yes, only one month longer than a chair that cost $140. Now it's effectively useless
