With a sturdy, lightweight zig-zag sole with extra platform height, the blaire sandal by Dr. Martens has tons of classic doc's attitude and hard wearing durability — and is 100 percent vegan. 

 Dr. Martens is the stuff of legends. It all began near Munich, Germany in 1945 when Dr. Klaus Maertens injured his foot in a skiing accident in the Bavarian Alps. To make walking easier during the healing process, he designed a shoe with an air-cushioned sole. Using old rubber tires, he constructed soles that had air trapped within closed compartments. He showed his prototype to his engineer/inventor friend, Dr. Herbert Funck, and together they decided to develop and produce the shoes. Not only did the shoe solve the doctor's immediate problem, but it also started to sell well in Germany. By 1959 the two decided that they needed a company to produce and distribute the shoes, then called Dr. Maertens, in other parts of the world. At first, many manufacturers rejected the concept of an air cushioned sole as a short-lived gimmick. However, the R. Griggs Group, located in the village of Wollaston in England, decided to go along with the idea by creating the first work boot with the revolutionary sole. On the first of April 1960, the first cherry red eight-eyelet work boot was produced and named 1460. To sell the brand name better in England, the name was anglicized to Dr. Martens. The range was branded AirWair and the rest is history.

 Wear them for short amounts of time and then slowly build up until you can wear them longer and longer. Also, a good tip is to always carry band-aids with you, so if you're nervous about them hurting um keep some band-aids in your purse. Your wallet, your car, whatever just keep them with you in case it hurts and you need a band-aid to buffer when it comes to sizing these run true to size. So i would say just get your normal size, because if they are too big, it's really obvious because your feet are going to feel really loose around the straps and because your feet is exposed in the sandal you're going to be able to tell if it's too Big and you know, if there's a gap in the back or if there's a gap in the front, it's going to look very obvious, but on the doc martens website they only have full sizes

 So if you are half size, get the half size smaller. So, for example, i'm a six and a half. I got a size six, which fits me perfectly. I tried to size, seven and my feet felt really loose within the straps um, so i would say just get your normal size normally with dog martin boots

It doesn't really matter if you get a size too big, because you're going to be wearing thick socks with them anyways, but with these sandals you're not going to be wearing socks with them. . however!!!!!!! I don’t know why the designers of this shoe made the straps SO LARGE because I would literally need an inch taken off from all of them in order for my foot to fit. This is such a shame because I can’t even order down cause the size 10 foodbed is the perfect length for my foot.

 So what am i going to do like? I need to reorder these well. That review went great, but anyway now you know to not size down if your foot is a regular. These are a four unlike my toes and my heel are just equal pretty much, but i think if i got these in a five, it would have been better. These straps here are so tight

I'M just roasting, but here are the sandals right here on the doc martin's website. There was two options for these sandals, so there were the vegan version and then there was the hydro black version, so i ended up going for the hydro black version just because they had the black tag at the back and then the vegan ones had the yellow Kind of pale yellow tag at the back and i preferred the black

My fear, when i ordered them was actually that they're gon na be too big, because people say size down by two sizes, because they're massive and i only sized down by one size. Love the style, but order a full size down.

 I think clarissa made from rubber from the comparison on the internet. They said blair is lighter and more comfortable. If you want to wear them and walk all day, you still feel pretty much comfortable in them. So that's why i decided to buy blair's sandals, not clarissa, and i would say i'm happy with my purchase because the straps feel really comfortable

Overall comfort is Superb. I love, love the feeling of the insole. You can walk all day on these babies since they’re lightweight. But one flaw are the front 3 straps which are very much a one size fits all

  The only issue I have with these is the sole material. Rather than traditional Airwair soles (heavy rubber) these are made of a dense but light foam. This makes the sandal considerably less heavy than my other Dr Martens sandals but after just a few month of light-medium wear, these are showing significantly more wear and tear than Dr Martens I've had for over three years and wear every summer.  Overall, these are cute, comfortable, and functional but they won't stand up against other Docs despite being about the same cost

I have a pear of the leather boots, the cloth boots, a pair of leather Mary Jane's, and a pair of steel toed boots, so I figured I should get some sandals. It was suggested that I order a size down from what I usually wear since these sandals run large. I did that, and they do fit
