Why are these so large Dr. Marten?! I should have ordered a 7 maybe.. which is unheard of for me! *** Adding a note to this review to advise definitely ordering a size down

I did have to go to their main website to purchase a size 14 (hop on it REI) and found a printable sizing sheet which gave me the peace of mind knowing that they'd fit my slightly wider foot. I'd highly recommend printing out their sizing chart before purchase!

Wear them for short amounts of time and then slowly build up until you can wear them longer and longer. Also, a good tip is to always carry band-aids ...

Haven’t used them in water yet, but they seem to dry fast and the sole looks very sticky and durable. I don’t feel like they will be as good support wise as Chacos, but the fit is so good, they should be ok. I tried the pro model, but liked the flat footbed on these better. Plus they are lighter for travel

I don’t know how this works for you smaller sizes lol but I guess dr martens sandals just can’t be a thing for me. I have the same issue with the Voss sandal

2) Ergonomics: Without a toe box or lateral straps, your foot falls on its natural (wide) footprint. Every other adventure sandal in the game constrains your foot on both sides. Even chacos, my previous favorite, would bind your foot and not allow your foot to take up its natural space. With bedrocks, my toes spread out, I balance better, and I move quicker

Overall comfort is Superb. I love, love the feeling of the insole. You can walk all day on these babies since they’re lightweight. But one flaw are the front 3 straps which are very much a one size fits all

can you please make an alternate design sandal with a wide-toe box shape? I would definitely buy another pair like this, but unfortunately I can use the current design for hiking and would not recommend them for people with wide toes.

I own several Dr. Martens boots and this was my first sandal purchase. The top strap needs to be lower to cover my pinky toe. Then the fit would have been perfect!!! So, when I made this purchase I was expecting the sandal to have a better strap design
