Xero Z-Trail EV

Z trail sandal, all right, so these sandals are considered a lightweight minimalist sport sandal. They feature a zero drop design.

So thank you, xero shoes for the upgrades built into the ev. I think they're going to be phenomenal.

Terrible in the water and on land after being soaked. They drag while maneuvering in the water.

I took these on a 10 day trip where these sandals were my only footwear. Heals hurt a lot despite the product listing stating that they were comfortable. I like the way they fit though. The heal cup could be bigger to prevent pebbles from getting in

I've tried the Xero Z Trail and really missed toe post when doing any sort of elevation. I got blister with the Xeros and Teva's in less than 10 miles (but that's just me). I got Shamma Chargers recently for running and they're good as well. Not as secure for steep mountains - something I'd take on a thru hike.

I also like the Z Trail EV from Xeroshoes, but have been thinking of getting the [Aqua X since my feet can sometimes get wet when on a trail. Thankfully they are available in black, so they can look okay in the city too (because that black/blue/yellow version is just too much).

Overall the sandal is great. I’ve had them for around six months and they are holding up just fine.
