And while finding the right size and adjusting for the most secure fit makes these Bedrocks very rugged, they can't quite match the stability and security of cross-toe and cross-foot straps found in many other models. Still, if you're after a minimally designed sandal that still provides support and protection, the Cairn 3D PRO II is a superb choice.

I bought these while visiting my daughter (who wears them) and I haven’t taken them off in 2 weeks! I’m 55 so comfort on my feet is a must and other than my good tennis shoes these shoes NEVER hurt when I’m wearing them or after a full day of walking around in them. I have wide feet and they are perfect! No breaking in needed! Definitely will purchase more! Highly recommend

 Wear them for short amounts of time and then slowly build up until you can wear them longer and longer. Also, a good tip is to always carry band-aids with you, so if you're nervous about them hurting um keep some band-aids in your purse. Your wallet, your car, whatever just keep them with you in case it hurts and you need a band-aid to buffer when it comes to sizing these run true to size. So i would say just get your normal size, because if they are too big, it's really obvious because your feet are going to feel really loose around the straps and because your feet is exposed in the sandal you're going to be able to tell if it's too Big and you know, if there's a gap in the back or if there's a gap in the front, it's going to look very obvious, but on the doc martens website they only have full sizes

 So if you are half size, get the half size smaller. So, for example, i'm a six and a half. I got a size six, which fits me perfectly. I tried to size, seven and my feet felt really loose within the straps um, so i would say just get your normal size normally with dog martin boots

It doesn't really matter if you get a size too big, because you're going to be wearing thick socks with them anyways, but with these sandals you're not going to be wearing socks with them.  I don’t know how this works for you smaller sizes lol but I guess dr martens sandals just can’t be a thing for me. I have the same issue with the Voss sandal

. however!!!!!!! I don’t know why the designers of this shoe made the straps SO LARGE because I would literally need an inch taken off from all of them in order for my foot to fit. This is such a shame because I can’t even order down cause the size 10 foodbed is the perfect length for my foot.

I did not order a size down

 I own several Dr. Martens boots and this was my first sandal purchase. The top strap needs to be lower to cover my pinky toe. Then the fit would have been perfect!!! So, when I made this purchase I was expecting the sandal to have a better strap design

Overall comfort is Superb. I love, love the feeling of the insole. You can walk all day on these babies since they’re lightweight. But one flaw are the front 3 straps which are very much a one size fits all

Love the style, but order a full size down.

Make sure you SIZE DOWN in these. I took the advice of past reviews and even though I am a women’s size 11 in all shoe styles and brands, I got these in a 10 and the my fit perfectly. No toe overhang, tight straps, or heels over the back. I have normal width feet however they are very flat

 I can feel that the soles have some arch support and are very comfortable. Haven’t tried to break them in yet but they are the comfortable for the first few walks.  4 stars based on the price point. They seem to be good quality but still steep for what you get
