Makes deep waffles, which have been evenly cooked throughout. I'm still experimenting with batters and light/darkness but the maker makes adjusting that very easy with just a slight turn of a knob. Without using any type of non-stick spray, the waffles have been easy to remove with no sticking

 The manufacturer recommends just wiping with a damp wash cloth or sponge to clean. Let's face it, a waffle maker is not an easy thing to clean, but the non-stick surface on this maker has made cleaning easier--I first use a silicone basting brush to "flick" out, if any, remaining tiny pieces of waffle and then wipe with a damp sponge.  The settings are available preset but allow individual changes according to your taste. I also like that I don't have to add any oil spray or butter to the waffle baker which makes clean up easier and less or no build up of oil residue over time. I've owned this since September 2016 and I am still enjoying this waffle baker. I think the price is worth the quality and the ease of use
