After seeing the Tudor Black Bay 58 on social media I had to go into an AD and see one for myself. Went to the closest AD and found one on  their nato strap, tried it on, and fell in love! But I did not buy it on site. I had to try it on the bracelet before pulling the trigger.

I love the design and attention to detail this watch has, plus the fact that if you change the strap to a brown leather or even fabric it can be matched with more casual wear. Tudor Black Bay 58 - After getting deep into the watch addiction, I knew this would be my first "expensive" (at least for my standards) watch. Funny thing is, it was an impulse buy as I found it at Athens International Airport when visiting home last year. It had just gotten in and they only had this single piece

my take: the everyday watch gotta have a date, preferably day/date, *at least* 100m water resistance, crazy comfortable to wear, good in every outfit (unless you have a particular watch for dressy occasions). anything from Sinn is a good idea, but you can also look at the Tudor Black Bay 58, if you don't own it already. oh and Yema makes some excellent divers that are usually in the 1k bucks range.

 Let's go to the accuracy in the official spec sheet from Tmi, which is the subsidiary company of Psycho who builds the actual movement. The specs are minus 20 to plus 40 seconds a day. This is the accuracy range that is acceptable when Tmi gives these movements to the watch building companies who then assemble complete watches out of it. The five or six movements that I had on my table right from from the manufacturer have way way better specs

 In my personal opinion, that is in in terms of handling, that is a very big improvement. The second thing is that it also is now hacking that it has a hacking second, so when you pull the crown to set the time, the second hand actually stops, which also gives it the opportunity to be set precisely to a corresponding time. In my opinion, this movement is a very clear improvement over the previous 7s 26 and it's a lot more enjoyable for for people who want to go into a mechanical movements and it's a lot more practical than the movements that we have seen before, and it doesn't seem to me that they've tried to cut any corners. In my opinion, the opposite is probably the case

 What we also can say and I will show you that in a second is that this movement is designed for reliability. We already kind of know that from Seiko and a lot of movements are known for their long time reliability sometimes working 10 years plus without the service and this movement is further improved to movements that we already know. for example, the 7s26. This movement has an additional jeweled main barrel which is here right at the number seven on the date disc

Like basically every movement is within 10 or 12 seconds. so the movements are actually pretty accurate and if you put additional work into the accuracy and regulate movement, I would look at about five to six seconds a day
