Tojiro ITK Bread Knife vs Victorinox Fibrox Pro 10.25-inch Serrated Curved Bread Knife

I rarely fully endorse a product. But it is my mission to recommend the tojiro bread knife around 20ish dollars.

This knife was a gift for a family member and I own 5 Victorinox knives so I am familiar with this company’s products. You could spend a lot more on a knife like this but why would you? This knife will cut breads and cakes or most baked goods with ease and is a quarter of the price of higher end knives and will perform just as well. I speak as someone who has been a chef for 41 years and who is a bit of a knife snob. I have $350 knives and $12 knives, and experience has shown me that you don’t have to break the bank to find a knife that performs…especially if the manufacturer is a quality company and in this case, with this knife, Victorinox comes through especially well in the serrated knife category

If a notice was left, it somehow disappeared before I could find it. Usually 3 attempts are made to deliver a package before it is returned to USPS. In my case it was supposedly attempted once and then returned to USPS where it then headed back to Japan. Customer service agent Sachiyo Sato that this "this case is not on us" and I was thanked for my understanding that I would not be refunded for my shipping and only for the product when they received it back
