It has been tough finding a reasonably priced chair that's right for my size that has all adjustments like [Amia or other Steelcase

I don't bother adjusting them anymore because I know they won't stay there for long. The video makes the arm rests look good, but they're not. This chair is not worth the high price, not even half the price. I wouldn't buy this chair again

For $650.00 plus dollars I expect the chair to have a more sturdy back support and a little more seat comfort. As an average height person, weighing 165 lbs, I still find my butt needing more cushion. The armrest is made of very soft and durable material. I remember my last chair had thin leather or leather-like coverings and would tear off after 2 years due to daily usage and elbow friction.

For now ill keep using this until I get a replacement that I hope survives at least a few years without issues as my next chair.

Final Notes: While it should be clear from the review I'll make highlight the point that this isn't an exciting or sexy chair; it's an eminently practical one. When you sit down there isn't a wow factor, as you are more likely to get from the Leap or the Aeron. However who cares about an initial wow? If you use a chair this much I believe you want something that works in the long haul, which is what this chair is meant for. If you're an occasional sitter then one of the others is good, but if you spend long periods, day after day year after year in your chair doing creative work then this is the best in my opinion

First it comes fully assembled. Peel the box off the chair and you are basically ready to use. Set the height, arm placements and you will be experiencing the best chair ever. I am 55 years old and not a small person

When the chair arrived I was actually dreading putting the thing together, but to my surprise it ships all in one piece. I just had to slide the chair out of the box. When I was changing out my Costco chair for the Steelcase chair, that's when I noticed how heavy and solidly made the Steelcase chair was compared to the Costco chair. Amazing difference!
