 These Remo heads don't tune to well and kinda have a cheap sound. Good for beginners but for someone who knows what they are doing WOULD NOT use these. Btw, the coating came off within a month.

For years I removed the resonant heads, and pinstripes on the batter with tape, paper towel, and God knows what else to achieve the sound I wanted, I then hatched an idea, why not simplify this? So here's the trick, pinstripes on the resonant side, these beautiful emperors (dear sweet God, get coated, more versatile, more responsive, etc.) on the batter side, and for that final touch, internal drum mufflers (more versatile and adjustable than other forms of muffling)

 WOW!!! is a dramatic difference. Bought a new Pearl kit, came with the generic heads, played them a little until the Remo's arrive, and the sound of the Remo's are 1000% better. With Remo's, the tuning is easier. Only rated it 5 stars because the scale goes no higher

These shipped out pretty fast. I ordered them for a cheap drum set I picked up and WOW, they sound like a million bucks! Remo is a staple brand of drum products and has been well respected for years. These things, properly tuned will not torture you with an ugly resonance as they use special science wizardry to keep the drums sounding thick and heavy! I am super happy with these heads. I am going to order a 22" for my kick now!

The product description led me to believe that the product was something else. I will be very leery before buying this type of product again. and then to have to pay to return it was bogus!

. simply amazing to say the bare minimum about this truly amazing drumhead. Remo has done it again! It is the perfect drumhead for a drummer who wants to get a great tone out of their toms (bass too) without the extended ring you get from most other drumheads. I definately recomend it to any drummer who wants nothing but the best!
