The build quality is amazing. Threads are cut well, the illuminated switch is beautiful, and the plastic in the diffuser is stout. The intuitive Andruil UI shines as bright as the LEDs. And those LEDs are great

The beam pattern is perfectly adequate for a tiny light. It has what I would consider a medium hotspot, then a slightly "colored" ring (a warm-ish ring on the "cool" LED) and then the dropoff with all transitions being mild. At about a foot away, the hotspot is roughly 5" in diameter. Perfectly acceptable beam performance for this type of light and better than nearly all "cheapie" flashlights I've seen which usually have a hard hotspot and not much else

Nice light. However, the very first day of use I accidentally dropped it from waist height. Completely broken. If this thing can't withstand one little fall, it's not worth this much money

Overall this is an incredibly well-thought-out, durable, high-quality piece of equipment. It's a relief to finally have a very nice lantern that shines a pleasant warm-tinted light!

I was looking for something and stumbled on the Streamlight and other brand name lanterns but they were way more expensive and I couldn't use existing 18650 batteries I had on hand. One of the other big reasons I bought this lantern was because it could use a power bank as a source of power. I'm glad I picked this up and it provided incredible light output at my campsite. Easily one of my favorite purchases and having come from the BLF Q8, I knew the quality would be there

But having the battery constantly draining was a deal breaker for me. In an emergency, one or two weeks on, if I reach for the flashlight, I need for it to work. Other than that it is a great product. Lumintop even has one without the "back light" as they call it

But with LEDs the battery life is fantastic. Whether for camping or power outages this is the best design out there. If you haven't already read the development thread for this light on budget light forum it helps. Changing modes can be difficult but worth reading the instructions
