Versatile, durable, long battery life, nice tint. Numerous features too complex for occasional use.
I grew up with gas-powered camping lanterns, which are very bright and have a comfortable tint (light color). But of course I understand that they're heavy, dangerous, and messy, so it makes sense to move toward battery-powered LEDs. However, while it seems like there are lots of options now for goo...

THE latern for those who like flashlights
Do you like flashlights? Like really like flashlights: you have everything from 2700 Kelvin, 2000 lumen triples to soup cans that put out 10k+ lumens, and all those in-between? This is the latern for you. Everything about this latern excels. The build quality is amazing. Threads are cut well, the il...

What's to say? If you looked at this light you already know you're buying it! 🤣
Edit 5 (months later): I use this light almost every night. The soft glow of the 4k tint warms the room nicely without blinding you. DBSAR and sofirn knocked this one out of the park. I can never look at another camping lantern again. I can pack this to a fishing spot so easily since a propane lante...

Sofirn BLF LT1 Quick Review – Lantern Excellence
You can carry it by the body and hold it like a normal flashlight, but that feels weird with a lantern. The Bail isn’t all that helpful either. I can only fit one finger through it comfortably, and the notch in the middle of it combined with the weight of the LT1 makes it dig into my finger and it’s uncomfortable
I'm thrilled with my LT1
In a remarkable turn of events, my LT1 showed up just days before Christmas despite showing a late January delivery date! I'm thrilled with the build quality, UI, USB-C charging, and mounting options. I'll admit I thought it was going to be a little brighter than it is, but I'm still satisfied with ...

Sofirn BLF LT1 Lantern
Because of the rug coloring it was hard to tell if something was BBQ sauce, or the pattern. Until I grabbed this lantern and put it in the working area, the high CRI meant we saw what was what right away, had the light we needed, and didn’t need to fuss with anything else. Game changer

I no longer fear the dark, I welcome it
I've been meaning to buy a "lantern" type light for power outages for seemingly years now. And while I am a flashlight buff, I just never really pulled the trigger on this one. Surely, I've known about it. I've read all the praise and reviews but it's only recently that I've finally got my hands on ...

Excellent lantern for 1/2 the price of competitors
If you're looking for a great lantern for camping with some slick features, look no further. Other brands are asking north of $100 comparable light output while having LESS features. I was looking for something and stumbled on the Streamlight and other brand name lanterns but they were way more expe...

Many One of a kind qualities and many qualifiers.
This is one of those things that was designed on paper and brought to Market without a whole lot of feedback from the public I guess. There are major irritations with the configuration of the plug-in. It is directly opposite the button which leads you to have numerous challenges. The plug for the US...

Great lantern!
I'm really liking this lantern so far! I loosely followed it's development on BudgetLightForums and was excited for it to finally become available. I've only used it for a handful of hours so far which included an actual power outage today. I'm very impressed with this thing so far. It was plenty br...
