Longines Legend Diver vs Seiko Presage

Another day at the (home) office, another day desk diving in my favorite tool for the job, the Longines Legend Diver. I love the sleek supercompressor case with inner rotating bezel, the retro looks and Milanese mesh bracelet, the simple, classic shape and style, everything. Dresses up better than just about any diver I know of, but is still recognizably a tool watch and wears well casually, in the same way a well-finished field watch does.

Seiko presage, citizen eco-drive, seiko 5, orient. Try those brands/lines. Probably the best bang for your buck in terms of quality and aestheticism. For the engraving part, I would just go to your local jewellers

My suggestion would be to go in for brands that have at least a 10+ year history - avoid the really new micro brands. The buying guides on this sub are quite informative.

From the form factor, bracelet, the beautiful orangy-golden-copper hues. It's got a lot of similarities to the GS in my opinion, which is a vintage look and a domed sapphire. The only other dress watch that I have is a 40.8 mm Seiko Presage, which does not get that much wear because I find it too large, even though it's an excellent watch in it's own right
