Longines Legend Diver vs Omega Seamaster Railmaster

Another day at the (home) office, another day desk diving in my favorite tool for the job, the Longines Legend Diver. I love the sleek supercompressor case with inner rotating bezel, the retro looks and Milanese mesh bracelet, the simple, classic shape and style, everything. Dresses up better than just about any diver I know of, but is still recognizably a tool watch and wears well casually, in the same way a well-finished field watch does.

It is really playful and it shows you don't have to spent thousands of dollars just to have a watch collection. It is creative too! It is not the standard omega seamaster/speedmaster, any Rolex etc. It is a good collection and an honorable collection!.

This luminous line appears as an underline beneath the numeral at 12 O'clock above the numeral at Six O'clock and to the right of the numeral at Nine ...

I love my battery powered (yes, true) Omega Seamaster. Gets worn every day, everywhere, frequently in the ocean. A few little nicks on the case but the blue face is timeless and the watch is tough as nails.

The modern railmaster I have here sports a 40mm across, 12mm thick case, making it extremely wearable for wrists of many sizes. The entire watch - from the case, the hands and the bracelet to the dial - is brush finished. This understated, no-nonsense design is what I love most about this watch. To top it off, it houses calibre 8806 - a great modern no-date movement with master chronometer certification

Finally got a new strap for my Longines Legend Diver Heritage L37744506. I felt an NDC would be a pretty fitting compliment to a French Marine Dive watch being a strap made of French Marine Paracord.

I prefer it one the black leather-rubber OEM strap, but a shark mesh is also available. The second one is the **Omega Railmaster** from the 1957 trilogy collection (also consisting of re-editions of the original speed and seamaster 300).
