I have an older, round HEPA filter from Honeywell and the progression in technology is apparent. This is a very quiet and very functional HEPA air filtration unit. On its' 'AUTO' setting it is whisper quiet. It doesn't get real loud until either manual level 3 or 'Turbo' mode

 It is easy to open up the front for filter replacement - also easy to replace the filters and replace the front cover.
