I bought it to use in my office where I like to smoke cigars. I can confirm it’s very effective at quickly getting rid of smoke and odor. It’s much more powerful than my old Okaysou Airmax8l. I was also getting tired of replacing filters so often in that air purifier

This mean you likely want to keep that area clean so you're not clogging the filters ahead of schedule and you probably want to use the wheels to increase the height/allow more airflow. The air comes out the top and goes in all eight directions from the side. The cord attaches at the bottom and looks to be about 10ft (didn't measure and could just be 8'). About this angle: Crevice tool -> /| <- coarse dust filter Otherwise, after a couple of weeks the unit again starts causing me trouble, I guess because some of the dirt accumulating on the coarse dust filter gets knocked loose by incoming crud, and ends up right back in the air. That’s my theory. I just know after a couple weeks, I have to clean or replace that filter, and clean is a lot cheaper than replace. I have also tried some cheaper aftermarket coarse-dust filters, NOT from IQAir, and trust me: get the one from IQAir and vacuum them from time to time

Levoit also make pet specific filters for this model. Filter replacement cost is reasonable when their lifespan is about 6-8 months iirc.

I've only had the filter for a week so I can't say that I've experienced any immediate changes. I've limited the filter to the bedroom since that is where my doctor recommended it since I have trouble sleeping due to not being able to breathe. Since getting the filter we've had this crazy storm blowing in from the west that's just been kicking up a ton of sand (I live in a desert area) so I'm sure all the sand blowing around isn't helping. However, usually when this happens I'm a sneezing miserable mess and so far I've just been a little stuffy at night

Guests were having problems with allergies when they visited (I do vacuum a lot to try and mitigate symptoms). I have noticed an extreme difference in air quality even after about 2 months now. I leave it running almost constantly and move it around to different rooms where I’m cleaning sometimes. You can clearly see what it’s catching in the filter, even small fruit flies (ya, gross lol)

The unit is very quiet on the middle and lower speeds, and not bad on the higher speeds. This Swiss-made air purifier appears to be very well made. The materials and construction appear to be high quality. It is an expensive item, but if you live in a region where there is year round pollen, dust and mold, and you are allergic to it all, this is definitely worth the investment

I have really severe allergies, and after doing a lot of homework I ended up following Wirecutter's advice and I bought two Coway AP-1512HH and 4 Levoit Core 300s to cover the majority of my house. They've made a noticeable improvement in my allergies!.
