I picked up from Shady Ray and what I really like about these is they're so lightweight and also if I lose them or break them, they'll replace them for me

Another impressive stat with the scooter is it has 18 miles of range Now of course that's rated range from the manufacturer, but I'll be doing my own testing with that and I'll let you guys know later on in the video what I actually got from a full charge with this scooter, but still 18 miles of range. You can tell that they're using really high quality batteries in these more expensive top-of-the-line scooters. Also, to increase visibility, because this is designed as a commuting scooter, they upgraded this front headlight on the scooter

 So I actually get another new pair. If I break these like if let's say they fall off and I run over them with this scooter during this test video, they'll just send me a new replacement pair. Now this latch that you see in the back here that holds uh, this handlebar down to the back wheel so you can lift it up easier is the exact same latch that we've seen before. Nice solid ride with great menu of features

I bought this because I wanted some thing to cruise around campus and still be able to pick it up and put it in my car or in a bag and leave by my desk ….as advertised I love it!!!

 If you're going fast, expect to get closer to 15 miles of range, which is still pretty darn good for what amounts to one of the cheapest electric scooters out there. You know going into a scooter like this that you aren't getting a huge battery for 400 bucks? But 280 watt hours is still decent, and the range is better than I expected. Of course, not everything is so rosy. There's no suspension on the scooter, which means that your legs end up becoming the suspension as long as you spot for potholes

 You do get a ton of reflectors, which is nice since there's only one light on this thing and it's up front, but the scooter is literally surrounded by a half dozen different wide-angle reflectors, so cars will at least light you up pretty nicely at night. I would have preferred active lighting around the scooter, but did I mention this thing only cost 399 bucks At that price? I'm just happy that it looks well put together. Ultimately, this is what I'd call a good, not great scooter. It's fine, it's decent

I would say the Segway NineBot Max fits those requirements although I haven't personally had to deal with their customer service myself. I've had mine for about 6 months and still love it, especially after adding a few modifications.

scooter recommendation!

For riding in any weather the best option I would go for is the Segway Ninebot Max, but that will be over your budget. On the plus side it should definitely last, as its a very well built scooter. I got over 1000km on my G30LP and had zero issues with it, only thing I do is check tyre pressure and inflate when needed.

Looking to get a scooter for work

So because of that tradeoff- I do not recommend the purchase if you are 200+ lbs. Unless you don't need I beyond 10 miles, then I would recommend this scooter. Or if you live in flat places, it might be better.

Pros- good build unlike the es3 that costco offered a year ago, this scooter will likely stand the test of time. The es3 started rattling and was loose after going over bumps in the road within a month in San Francisco, which had bad streets, pot holes everywhere.

Range isn't a big issue for me as work is within a couple miles and I can charge it at work. I do want to keep it fairly portable as my apartment is upstairs and I would have to bring it downstairs at work. The only scooter I've ridden previously is a Segway Ninebot Max and I did enjoy it, though I can see that the power on it wouldn't be enough for me forever and I would like to have some suspension.

 If you weight 210 and aiming to use it daily for 20-30 miles, I would seriously consider buying a bike rather. Specification says it has capacity of 220lb, from my own experience it can but in a few days you going to lose your bearing. That's something really to consider before purchasing it.

It's a great scooter if you weigh up to 170lb.
