This is the G30LP. It’s a cheaper update to the original G30 scooter. It’s cheaper by about $200 but it’s also worse in almost every way possible. Worse range, charging, etc.

Highly recommend seeking out the G30 if you want significantly better range.

For a simple/entry scooter, it excels I would prefer a 500 watt motor as San Diego has hills all over. The Max is fine on level ground, but doesn’t love hills.

I bought mine from Costco about a month ago. Overall, it is very good. I'm 240 pounds and it pulls me around at 19 miles per hour on level ground. On hills, it slows down but keeps going. When back to flat ground the speed picks up to full speed no problem.

Pros- good build unlike the es3 that costco offered a year ago, this scooter will likely stand the test of time. The es3 started rattling and was loose after going over bumps in the road within a month in San Francisco, which had bad streets, pot holes everywhere.

Probably GREAT for those who don’t need to carry it anywhere. It was packaged securely, seemed super sturdy and powerful, but the trade off is the weight and size. It’s just over 40lb. I believe and I couldn’t easily carry it and stash it on the bus/train for commuting. Has to return unfortunately.

I loved my Segway scooter. It worked great for the first three months, but the battery soon began to charge improperly and it would not charge or run properly. I bought 2 and BOTH broke down. Poor quality and craftsmanship and difficult to get it fixed. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Not very fast. App for your phone doesn’t work. I called to get help and the just said try again tomorrow. Still not working properly. I have an iPhone 13 so it’s not my phone. The company is not helping me at all. They said I can’t unlock the top speed until the app is working.

This scooter is a blast to ride, goes up hills as advertised, and is very solidly built. Only quibble is that it is heavy to carry around, and there is no way to lock it down so someone else cannot ride it, even though you pair it with your phone. Seems like it would be a simple fix.
