I've been looking at the Moto One 5G Ace, and also the (seemingly non-existent) Moto One 5G UW. The Ace isn't even on A11 and probably won't even get 12. So I was debating spending more and going to Pixel 5a or newer, Samsung higher-ish end, or some other phone in line a bit with Moto G Power unless the Ace is still actually worth buying, since it is on sale with Black Friday currently. Not sure what Motorola is thinking, but the newer Moto G Powers are just downgrades. Has anyone switched to a different brand recently?

Upgrading from Moto G Power 2020, not much luck finding anything.

 Regarding autonomy, it's been a while since I found myself in a situation where I no longer had to worry about recharging my phone for a whole day.  And finally, for the price, the performance and general experience far exceed that of the LG G6.  Verdict, no need to buy a flagship to have a very good phone

Both phones have exceeded expectations in pretty much every possible way. I normally wouldn't upgrade at this moment, but because of a recent job change, I will be traveling between US and Latin America on a fairly regular basis. I have citizenship/residency in US, and 2 countries in Latin America I have spent considerable time in US, have a mailing address there, and most importantly, have accounts at various banking institutions in the US. Also have banking in Latin America. I currently have major issues with online banking (and other US based services that want to send a confirmation code to my US phone number 🙄) and would like to solve the problem by having a single phone, with a US SIM with US number, that I can receive messages on (eg. - a text from X bank with confirmation code), and also local SIM for everyday use and local banking. 

I am looking for a dual sim, global version, android phone, that has decent 4g band support in the US (specifically bands 12/17, 66). I will be in the US for about 1 month a year, and would like to maintain (and be able to use) the US phone number from within the country, and also abroad (where I reside 11/12 months a year. Not worried about the cost of maintaining a service  plan in US. 

I don't need insane specs for gaming. Assume I don't play games.

Within the last year, having a good camera has recently become important to me. A device with a telephoto lens would be nice, but not necessary. The camera on my current phone (Redmi Note 9 Pro) is decent, nothing special. New phone must have equal or better camera specs. I would *consider* spending significantly more, if the perfect phone with a GREAT camera came around at a decent price, as long as it meets other requirements. 

My current options (in no particular order), each a global version containing the requirements stated above (to my knowledge), including the 4g band support:

Poco F3, 8/256 GB, ($430) - Potential downgrade in camera

Mi 11 lite 5g, 8/128 GB, ($560) - at that price it's almost worth considering a true the regular mi 11, or mi 11i

OnePlus 8t, 12/256 GB ($600) - I used to love OnePlus

Zenfone 7, 8/128 GB ($590) - this device really intrigues me

Zenfone 8 (non flip), 8/128GB ($TBD) 

Samsung S21+ 5g, 8/256GB ($800) - I don't want to spend that much $, but it seems like a good deal, and would consider it spending the extra cash. I would consider the S21 version (non plus) as well, as I actually prefer a smaller phone 6.2-6.5", however I included the "plus" version on this post as it is listed at the same or cheaper price currently than the smaller, non plus version 🙄

What options am I overlooking? I'd like to stay in the $5-600 range, but like I said, would consider paying more if the perfect device came about, with great camera, at a discount from MSRP.

Global version, dual sim, 4g band coverage in US, camera?

Samsung have a sale on right now (at least from UK) and is priced at £356. I'm not bothered about 5G and I don't game on my phone. The key things for me is a good screen, water resistance, good camera and battery. Seems pretty good next phone from my S8 for around the £350 mark I think

Unless you can wait for the A72 5G, the only reason why I'd get the A72 is for the telephoto, otherwise I'd just go for the A52 or A52 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A72 review

My main concerne about this one is the fact that screen is not adaptive (which in theory would drain more battery) and won't provide a full day of outside activities. Also I'm planning to use the reverse charger for my buds and watch so that would drain the battery even more. Samsung devices are a must in the case I buy Watch 4 because they kinda only work with them (I know it can be adjusted but for 400 eur watch I expect it to work out of the box) and a52s and a72 are really good options but are lacking some features of the s21 series.

This is the best midrange smartphone out there! It came perfectly packaged 📦 and it even comes with a clear case and a charger but the charger is a international one and it came with an adapter that Amazon put with it that will gladly skip! The phone 📱 is definitely water proof and dust proof! It even has a SD card slot for expanding storage! It has 8gb of ram and 256gb of storage! The flagship samsung galaxy s21 don't have expanding storage and it has 1 less camera! Both the front and rear cameras can record in 4k uhd at 30fps! YouTube videos can be watched in up to 4k quality which is awesome!
