Marin Kentfield 1, Giant Escape 3, Giant Escape 3 Comfort, and Liv Alight 3 Comfort. Our local area has a few hills, but nothing particularly steep.

It's really slow and heavy and I live near hills and have a really hard time shifting or making it up a hill. I had a crappy $300 fixed gear road bike back in the day that I enjoyed much more than this hybrid..

 It's a base model so it has rim brake. Rim/\s/brake is easier to adjust and maintain./\s/ But When I tried to go downhill, it was really/\s/scary. So If you always need to go downhill,/\s/ go for the disc brake version

S or $550 in Canada. I always say Giant/\s/has better value than its competitors such as/\s/ Trek, Specialized and Norco. If. You are a casual/\s/rider, you're only riding during the weekend,/\s/ in the street with your friends and kids,/\s/this is the best one you can get

2021 Giant Escape 3 Review

 Another reason I think this bike looks sleek is because all the cables go inside the middle panel of the bike which is also very thin and I think looks good. So I think that if you're in the market for a new bike and you want something that looks kind of sporty but is also very practical and fast, this is definitely it.  I Really only use about 14 of the gears. The lower 7 gears just kind of sit there and are never used. However, because of all these gears, this bike is really fast I find myself pretty easily doing 20 miles per hour. This bike is actually so fast that a lot of times on stoplights I find myself actually accelerating faster than cars they're braking on this bike is not great considering the brakes are disc, but they still work very well

The stopping distance isn't that far from a high speed, although in wet conditions that can be a bit of slipping. The handlebars on this bike are very Y which allows for better handling and agility of the bike

Is schwinn a good brand for commuter bikes?

 Now in trex lineup, they also have their dual sport series, which is a little more off-road, focused with a front suspension fork and slightly more upright geometry, and then they also have their verve series, which is mostly road focused. But it comes with fatter tires and a very upright position, and so here this bike being the fx3. This is the third level in trex fx series of that fitness style hybrid and they go from an fx1 at the lowest price point all the way up to an fx sport, six, which is a carbon fiber super bike with a flat, handlebar and diving into the Frame of this fx3, it's the gold alpha aluminum. This is a high level of aluminum from trek, and it's going to sport, some really cool frame, features and tech to be able to make this a nice rig for that fitness style hybrid

 This is a pretty neat rig with a one by system up front, the aluminum frame and the ability to be a one bike to do it all so. I'D love to know your thoughts down in the comment section below, while you're at it be sure to hit that thumbs up button.  Essentially, what that means is: we've got a single gear up front. It'S mounted up on this alloy crankset and then, as we go out back, it's a shimano deore rear derailleur operating an 11 to 46 tooth rear cassette. So that means the whole gear range of the bike is done in the back. You'Ve got this really big gear range, and it means that through those 10 speeds, you don't have to worry about shifting the front, which also allows the bike to be a bit more reliable, no drop chains

 So you could commute on it. You could go on a bike path and go fast use this with your kids and then train for your first. You know bike ride or something like that all together, and so this alpha gold aluminum runs internal cable, routing everything kind of comes in down through the side of the bike and that's helpful because, as you can see it both gives it a pretty clean. Look to the bike, but it also allows when you're putting it up on a car rack

Is the 2022 Trek FX 3 the Fitness Bike to choose?

 It'S pretty incredible. What a set of carbon wheels and a flat bar gravel-ish hybrid can do for both weight and price. Pretty interesting. 

 The grx derailleur is a mid-level componentry from their gravel series. So very nice setup has a clutch which is going to help keep the chain from smacking against the chainstay here and keeping everything quiet and then up front. Is that front crank set operating with a 40 tooth, chainring, so 40 tooth up front and then 42 out back means. This is less than a one to one gear ratio

. So the sport 6 is a one by system which essentially means you've, got a single ring up front and then out back it's rocking an 11 speed spread. So in back is an 11 to 42 tooth rear cassette. That'S operated through the shimano grx rear derailleur

 It got me a little bit curious how this compared to the fx sport 5 and that bike, which comes in about 600, less expensive, weighed in at 24.56 pounds. So in fact, we're seeing over three pounds of weight difference which seems like pretty good savings. For six hundred dollars, but the thing that's most interesting is the checkpoint sl5, which would be the most comparable gravel bike from trek

Look at Trek FX, Giant Escape, Cannondale Quick, Specialized Sirrus, etc. If you have the budget, try to get the next model up from base that does away with the 7-speed freewheel in favor of an 8-speed cassette. MTBs are pigs on the road, road bikes are the most efficient (and *never* have a flatbar), hybrids are sorta in-between, but excel at nothing other than having the best utility for dollar.
